I began my cycles series a few years ago when my father relapsed with prostate cancer. Knowing that I was going to experience the loss of my father made me consider life and mortality. An exploration of birth, life, death and the afterlife followed. When my dad died in March 2022 I used his image directly in my work to explore my own feelings surrounding his death. I have more I want to add to this theme both on a general level and a personal one. Watch this space!
